I am Royalones Photography

Hi there!

That's me - Mike. I am Royalones Photography. It all started out in 2016, but the interest was much ealier. As my kids were growing up and participating in one school and summer activity after another, I began to capture those moments with my trusty Kodak point-and-shoot camera. After a while I wanted to achieve more out of the images I was capturing with that little camera. That is when I stepped up into the DSLR game with the purchase of my first Nikon kit. I was hooked on photography after that.

It started to get more exciting when my youngest son was a senior in high school. I began to play around with green screen and extractions with the desire to create his senior football banner. After revealing the creation to him, his senior teamates wanted one like it, too. And that was the start into an exciting journey into sports photography. Since 2016, I've been learning and honing the T&I craft to create team and individual senior banners for a wide range of sports.

It was during that inital year working with banners that a few parents inquired with me about whether I would be willing to do portraits for their senior student. They were willing to take a change, and I was willing to take it with them. In the same fashion that I began digging deep to improve my T&I game, I would do the same with portrait photography. Through countless hours of online classes and tutorials from the best in the business, I began to improve my skills, increase my confidence, and increase my customer base.

Photography is not a mainstay for me - it's a hobby that I enjoy. I put a lot of pride in any hobby I pursue.
